FAQs
How Phoenix virtual mining works.
What is virtual mining in the Phoenix Gold Network?
Virtual mining involves purchasing a virtual mining device that generates Phoenix Gold Coins (PGC) daily. It lets participants contribute to the network's liquidity and growth without physical mining hardware.
How does purchasing a virtual mining device work?
When you purchase a virtual mining device, 90% of the payment (made in POL) is allocated to a liquidity pool within the mining smart contract. This ensures you can sell your device back instantly, promoting liquidity and stability within the network.
What happens to the price of virtual mining devices over time?
The price is set by a bonding curve in the smart contract: the more devices in operation, the higher the price of the next one. This encourages early participation and rewards miners for their contribution.
Are there any fees for buying or selling devices?
There is a 10% fee for buying or selling virtual mining devices. Half of it is used to enhance PGC liquidity on DeFi exchanges.
How can I claim the PGC mined by my virtual device?
Mined PGC can be claimed every 24 hours directly from the smart contract. Half of each claim goes straight to your wallet; the other half is locked for a year to ensure long-term participation and network stability.
What happens if I don't claim my mined PGC daily?
Mined PGC keeps accumulating, but with a one-day penalty for each day you delay. For example, if you claim after 2 days, you receive PGC equivalent to 1 day of mining.
Which wallet do I need?
Any browser wallet that supports Polygon — MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet and others. On a phone, open this page inside your wallet app's built-in browser. You pay for miners and gas in POL.
